Applications open for Fringe Festival 2026!
The Edmonton International Fringe Festival will be back August 13-23, 2026. The Community of Jazz is always excited to work with theatre artists and help host their shows in this festival as an independent BYOV (Bring Your Own Venue)! We are a 10-minute walk to the main Fringe grounds (map link), located in the 99 street & south-of-Whyte area at 10019 80 Ave NW, Edmonton, Canada. We are among a cluster of BYOV venues in this up-and-coming arts district, have been a BYOV since 2012, and been in our current space since late 2016. We have two spaces traditionally been used as a BYOV, the main floor and the upstairs.

Pricing
We prefer to have contracts to slightly fewer companies (5-6 per space), and to offer those companies a little better show times. We do not have explicit minimums/maximums for show lengths, but ask for a minimum of five (5) shows. We lean towards accepting 60 minutes productions with a run of 8-10 shows over Fringe Festival.

Deposit
A 50% deposit is due upon contract signing, and the remaining 50% is due July 31st
