Dan Repsch

Join us February 20-22, 2026 for a weekend workshop with Dan Repsch. Dan is a Montreal-based dance instructor and DJ of Lindy Hop, Blues, Balboa, and Charleston with significant international teaching & deejaying experience at various major Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Blues events world-wide. We look forward to learning from Dan as he shares his expertise in Balboa and Blues: two dance styles that we want to see grow in our scene!

Bio: Dan is immersed in the music and the movement. As a teacher, his enthusiastic approach brings a focus on innovation, connection, and attention to your partner. As a veteran instructor and DJ, he’s worked for events across 4 continents, for everything from international events to local dances. He’s also organized both locally and for international events, including a Head DJ role in BluesSHOUT! and The Balboa/Blues Experiment. In the end, Dan is most excited to work hard at improving the dance and to see people break through their boundaries.

Dancer Access Program

Started in 2024, the Dancer Access Program has been enabling dancers financially to participate in workshop hosted by the Community of Jazz. For this workshop, we are providing a 25% off discount, no questions asked, to those who need the financial support in order to participate. Please input the coupon code ‘DAP‘ upon checkout.

For those who have more financial means, yes, you may make a contribution to the program! On behalf of us and everyone who uses the DAP, we wholeheartedly thank you for your support! For transparency, please note that we budget for our workshops to break-even regardless of people contributing or partaking in DAP; furthermore, the Community of Jazz regularly contributes to this program (ie, we haven’t yet had a surplus)! Thank you for your support!
